KinderGlo review & giveaway (US & Canada)

November 14, 2012

Hi everyone, here’s a great review, giveaway, and coupon code from KinderGlo! With Davey I can’t use an ordinary night light that plugs into an outlet. In fact I can’t have anything at all plugged in in his room because he unplugs things and tries to plug them back in! I tried a different kind of rechargeable night light a long time ago and it only lasted about a month before it stopped working, so I was hesitant to try another. Instead we used one of those touch light flashlights where you just push on the light and it turns on and off – battery operated, so I had to have lots of rechargeable batteries and always have a set charged up. I had to change the batteries every 2 or 3 days. So you can imagine I was pretty excited when KinderGlo sent me a nightlight for a review and giveaway on my other blog earlier this year!  And even more excited that they offered a giveaway and coupon code for my readers here on my new blog!  They let me choose which night light we wanted, and Davey loves dinosaurs so I chose the brontosaurus night light:

I keep the charger in my room so Davey can’t mess with the plug and just take the bronti into his room at night and during naptime. Actually he keeps it off the charger almost all the time — We hardly ever have to charge it, and when we do charge it, it is not more than a couple of hours.  We did have 2 Bronti night lights, because Davey broke the charger on the first one, so I bought a second one and we would keep one on the charger and one in his room, but he recently somehow managed to break one of the night lights now.  He is very rough on things, and I am not sure how he managed this.  The inside part of it was knocked loose somehow.  But we are really fine with just one night light, because like I said, it does not need to be charged much at all!  I am not sure if he keeps it turned on all night or not though. He isn’t actually scared of the dark at all and doesn’t really need a night light but it’s a habit for him to have one. When I give it to him he actually wants to tuck it in bed and cover it with his comforter so when I leave the room it is completely dark in there. He’s not scared one bit! But he still loves his bronti night light and insists on having it every night and during his naps (even though he really doesn’t need a night light during his middle of the day naps!) The button on the bottom is easy for him to push and choose what color light he wants on, and it goes on the charger easily enough that even Davey can do it himself. Also the night light doesn’t get hot at all so it is safe for your child to keep in bed with them. Overall I highly recommend the KinderGlo night lights for your child!

Buy it: You can buy your own KinderGlo night light from their website for $22.95 for the Bronti or $24.95 for all the others. Use coupon code 2N1N4D08ZJ6K for FREE shipping!
