Hi everyone, I was recently given the opportunity for a Melissa & Doug review and giveaway and of course I jumped right on it! Melissa & Doug is one of my favorite brands of toys. They have so many cute toys, and so many of them are educational too. We have had a lot of Melissa & Doug play food, their tool set, puzzles, and more. Now we have a Beeposh Elvis Lion Stuffed Animal too! When this came, Davey was so excited! I really had planned to give this to him for Christmas, but he already has so many other Christmas presents already that I went ahead and gave it to him. It is hard getting away with not opening a package if it comes while he is up!
This stuffed animal was much bigger than I expected, but Davey absolutely loves it. It measures 28″ x 18″ x 8″ and is recommended for ages 3+. He uses it like a pillow because it is so big and cushy and squeezable. We had to quickly teach our new dog that it is NOT hers! She took it away from Davey almost as soon as I gave it to him. She loves plush toys and Davey does NOT want to share this stuffed animal and I don’t want Brielle tearing it up! I love the lion’s main which is just strips of fabric coming out around its face, instead of the normal “fur” that is usually on stuffed animals. It is made of ultra soft fleece and is machine washable. That is a big plus, all Davey’s stuffed animals have to be washed every so often. I even wash stuffed animals that say to only clean the surface and usually they are fine, but I am glad to know this cute stuffed lion will hold up in the wash!
