X-Doria Dash Folio iPad Mini Case review

Thank you X-Doria and Max Borges Agency for sending me the Dash Folio iPad Mini Case, free of charge, for review. These are my own honest opinions. I am addicted to iPad Mini cases. I have tried out a few now, but I’m always eager to try out new ones. So I was excited when I got the chance to work with X-Doria on a review! They recently sent me their Dash Folio to try out. I love folio style cases and this one is very stylish with its multiple layer design. The outside is black with touches of gray, and the interior is gray. It has a hard case inside that the iPad Mini pops into, giving you added protection. It has the auto wake/sleep feature that has become a must-have for me in iPad cases. It has a magnet inside that makes your iPad Mini sleep when you close it and wake when you open it. Now for an update about me…

So you might have seen the update about Davey I posted a little while ago.  Now how about an update about myself?  :) This has been a crazy few months, hence the lack of posts – reviews or personal.  If you’ve been following my blog you know I moved in with my mom in January.  Any kind of changes in my life can easily either make me manic or put me in a funk.  Whether it’s a good change or a bad change makes no difference on whether I will be come manic or depressed. You would think a good change like moving in with my mom, something I was excited about, would make me manic, right?  Nope, I wound up in a funk, which only got worse because of dealing with some problems with my teenage brother and getting stressed out about that.  I finally pulled out of the funk about 2 or 3 weeks ago.  I’ve been playing catchup on both blogs and doing just fine. Maybe he’s not autistic…

If you’ve been following my blog, you’ve probably wondered why I always say “I think Davey is autistic” and then there is nothing about him being in therapy or being evaluated or anything.  We went through an evaluation when I was away at college about a year ago, and I also had him in language and occupational therapy at that time.  They determined at his evaluation that he is NOT autistic. I was relieved and we continued therapy for his language and developmental delays, but I didn’t look into the possibility of autism anymore.  Also there were a lot of changes going on over that period of time, such as moving away from my family to go to college, Davey going into daycare for the first time ever, etc.  His behavior was awful at that time due to all the changes and I think it set him back in some ways developmentally. Shortly after we finished his evaluation, in March of last year, I dropped out of college and moved home to my mom’s house.  We stayed there for about 3 months then moved into our old house that my stepmom owns.  So there were more changes in Davey’s life. Hi everyone, I have a great review and giveaway for you from Emerson Creek Pottery!  We are redecorating our kitchen  and really needed some nice accent pieces to go with the new colors we are planning in the kitchen.  I have been wanting to start a little collection of pitchers.  I have one, and my mom has a couple, so when I saw Emerson Creek Pottery’s Posie Pitchers I knew this was what I wanted to review. I chose the Copper Clay Posie Pitcher which is a beautiful coppery, reddish-brown color.  My picture really does not do the color justice!  It is a gorgeous color and looks great on our kitchen counter!  This is a small pitcher, as you can see from the counter backsplash behind it, and it holds 8 ounces of water.  It is dishwasher and microwave safe and ovenproof.  All of their items are lead-free as well.  We use ours purely for decoration.  We thought once our flowers start blooming we may cut a flower to put in the pitcher on occasion.
