Pampers Prize Pack {Review & Giveaway ~ US only}

pampers

Thank you Pampers for providing me with diapers, wipes, 2 free product coupons, 3 books, and a Twilight Turtle, free of charge, for review. These are my own honest opinions. Yes, Davey is still in diapers, although he recently turned 4.  I have had no luck with potty training and he just does not seem to be ready.  He asks to sit on the potty some days but he doesn’t “go” in the potty.  I have even tried making him sit there til he goes and it just does not work.  I am so ready for him to be out of diapers, but it apparently isn’t happening any time soon.  So I was excited at the chance to work with Pampers on a review and giveaway! I actually had never tried Pampers before.  We usually use store-brand diapers to save money, some of which I like and others I don’t.  We tried out Pampers Baby Dry Diapers in size 6.  We had no leaks with these at all, and Davey wears his all night and through part of the morning because lately he doesn’t want to have his diaper changed first thing in the morning so I leave him in [...]

WubbaNub ~ World’s Cutest Pacifier {Review}

Wub_facebook-1-1

Thank you WubbaNub and Celebrity Trend Expert, Rachel Florio-Urso, for providing me with a WubbaNub Pacifier, free of charge, for review.  These are my own honest opinions. Davey never would take a pacifier, and there were times where really nothing pacified him and I wished he would take a pacifier!  I wonder if he would have taken one if he had a WubbaNub.  WubbaNub makes cute plush animals with a pacifier attached at the mouth.  I requested this to give to my friend’s disabled baby Wade, who recently came home after his first 9 months of life spent in the hospital.  Since they live an hour away, I haven’t been able to give it to baby Wade yet, but plan to do so when I am out that way in about a week or so.  I already know baby Wade will love this Red Dog WubbaNub though! I chose the Red Dog because of the bright color, sure to capture Baby Wade’s attention.  It is super soft and cuddly and perfect for a 9-month-old baby like Wade.  It is the perfect size for younger babies to grasp on to and the pacifier itself is a design many babies use and like [...]

Tiny Love ~ Take Along Mobile {Review & Giveaway ~ US only}

TinyLove3

Thank you Tiny Love for providing me with a Take Along Mobile, free of charge, for review.  These are my own honest opinions. While Davey is not a baby anymore, I love any excuse to review baby products.  Tiny Love is a company I have wanted to work with for quite some time, and the perfect excuse to review baby products came along recently, and I was very excited that Tiny Love agreed to work with me!  Some friends of mine have a disabled baby, Wade.  Actually they were not even sure if he would live at birth and it was a miracle that he did.  However, he needed several surgeries and intensive care throughout the first 9 months of his life and spent all that time in the hospital.  He only just recently came home at 9 months old.  He still needs a lot of medical care and he is developmentally delayed due to his health problems.  He still has more surgeries he will have to have, but he is doing well enough that they can wait awhile. Baby Wade is not an outwardly very happy baby.  I mean, he seems well enough, but he doesn’t laugh or smile [...]

Kidaroo Crew ~ The best way to label your child’s sippy cup! {Review}

Kidaroocrew

Thank you Kidaroo Crew and Celebrity Trend Expert, Rachel Florio-Urso, for providing me with Write On SippyGrabs and Custom Snugaroos, free of charge, for review.  These are my own honest opinions. While Davey has not had many situations where his sippy cup needed to be labeled so far in his life, he will be starting preschool this fall and I was excited to try out some Kidaroo Crew sippy cup labels for review.  Kidaroo Crew offers write-on and custom bands that go around your child’s sippy cup.  We received both, the Write On SippyGrab KoalaLabels: and the Custom Snugaroos KoalaLabels: These have a sports theme which will appeal to most little boys.  Even though Davey doesn’t know much about sports, he gets excited about any kind of ball and knows what the different types of balls are, so he was pretty excited when he saw these!  The Snugaroos have his name already on them, and I was happy to see that his full name would fit on them: The SippyGrab are a write-on kind, which makes them a little less permanent, which would be great if you have multiple kids, or want to use them for future kids.  You can write on [...]

TruKid review & giveaway (US only)

TruKid

Thank you TruKid for providing me with Silly Shampoo and Sunny Days Sunscreen, free of charge, for review.  These are my own honest opinions. I have always loved trying all natural products for Davey, but I will admit I don’t use all natural products with him on a regular basis.  Let’s face it, it can be expensive to go all natural or organic with everything!  So I was pleasantly surprised when I found out about TruKid and saw their products are all natural and are not too expensive for all natural products! Ok, they are more expensive than the not-all-natural brands you find in the store, but not by too much and it is worth it just to know that what you are putting in your child’s hair or on their body is not harmful in any way.  When I think about how little shampoo I use in Davey’s hair and the fact that he generally does not bathe every single day, $8.99 is not too much to pay for all natural shampoo.  When I think about how chemical-filled sunscreen makes Davey break out if I don’t get it completely scrubbed off that night, it is worth it to me to [...]

Umi Shoes review & giveaway (US only)

UmiShoes1

It’s finally Spring, even if it may not feel like it!  I’ve been working on getting Davey’s spring clothes, and he of course needed some sandals.  After working with Umi Shoes on my other blog a few times, I have fallen in love with their shoes and Davey loves them too!  He can’t stand it when I buy him a pair of cheap shoes from the local store.  It has to be Umi, or nothing at all! Umi recently sent me a pair of sandals for review.  I chose the Laren in Cocoa Multi color.  It comes in two other colors as well, but Davey wears a lot of brown, so cocoa multi was perfect for him. To be honest, it was a struggle at first to get Davey to wear these shoes.  He does not like change at all and wanted to keep wearing his winter Umi shoes.  We had this problem when our dog chewed up another pair of Umi Shoes and he had to wear another pair of shoes we had until I could order some in the exact same style from Umi; it was a nightmare!  So while the weather has been warmer here these past [...]

Craft Cuts review & giveaway (US & Canada)

CraftCuts2

I have been redecorating Davey’s room and am always on the lookout for products that will look good in his room.  This all started a few months ago, when I decided I wanted to redecorate his room in an outer space theme.  I started getting review products on my other blog for his room, but then the decision to move came up and that put a halt on his room.  Now that we’re all settled in at our new home it was time to get busy!  I’ve recently painted his room and put up space decals and still have a few more things to do in there. When I came across Craft Cuts and their painted wooden letters, I knew this would be a perfect finishing touch in Davey’s room!  Davey can spell his name and he thinks it is so cool to have his name up in his room.  I had some decals of his name at our old house but couldn’t bring those with me since they were not reusable.  The wooden painted letters are so much better than decals, I think!  If we move again I can easily take them with  me, and the 3D effect of [...]

Cuddletunes MP3 Player Bear review & giveaway (Worldwide)

CuddleTunes2

Here’s a great review and giveaway from Cuddletunes! I reviewed an older version of the Cuddletunes MP3 Player Teddy Bear on my other blog last winter. Davey absolutely loved his Cuddletunes bear but we went through sooooo many batteries because he played it constantly and for whatever reason my rechargeable batteries wouldn’t work in it. So eventually I took it away. That caused a HUGE fit for a couple of days, but he eventually stopped asking about it. I hated to take it away because he loved it so much, and he really loves music a lot and this way he can play music whenever he wants. So when I found out Cuddletunes now has a rechargeable bear I just had to get it for him! The Cuddletunes bear is a cute plush bear that plays music on it. You can load whatever music you want, although iTunes music is protected and will not work. I download any music Davey wants from Amazon which can be played in iTunes too, but can also work on the Cuddletunes bear. It is really simple to use, for both child and parent. For the child, the buttons are easy to push and if [...]

Collage.com review & giveaway (US only)

Sorry for the glare on it, but I decided to use this picture anyway so it would hide my brother's full name.

I recently came across a neat website, Collage.com where you can make photo collages and have them printed on posters!  You choose a shape or even type in words, and then choose your photos (you can even choose them from your Facebook albums) and it arranges all your photos into the shape you chose.  I was given a gift code for a free 20×30 collage poster.  I played around with the options for quite awhile and finally decided to pick the graduation cap and put photos of my brother from the past few years, to give him for Christmas.  It turned out great! You can choose to have your poster printed vertically or horizontally.  I chose horizontally since the graduation cap shape is wider.  You can also add text to it at the top or bottom.  I put my brother’s name and “Class of 2013″ at the bottom.  The print quality is amazing!  Also when you create your collage it tells you if any pictures are going to be blurry.  You can click a button to rearrange the photos until you get ones showing that are the right resolution so they won’t come out blurry, or you can just add [...]

KinderGlo review & giveaway (US & Canada)

Character-family-lit-300x188

Hi everyone, here’s a great review, giveaway, and coupon code from KinderGlo! With Davey I can’t use an ordinary night light that plugs into an outlet. In fact I can’t have anything at all plugged in in his room because he unplugs things and tries to plug them back in! I tried a different kind of rechargeable night light a long time ago and it only lasted about a month before it stopped working, so I was hesitant to try another. Instead we used one of those touch light flashlights where you just push on the light and it turns on and off – battery operated, so I had to have lots of rechargeable batteries and always have a set charged up. I had to change the batteries every 2 or 3 days. So you can imagine I was pretty excited when KinderGlo sent me a nightlight for a review and giveaway on my other blog earlier this year!  And even more excited that they offered a giveaway and coupon code for my readers here on my new blog!  They let me choose which night light we wanted, and Davey loves dinosaurs so I chose the brontosaurus night light: I [...]
